Overview

Miazmat is an attempt at reconstruction of the vision that inspired S.I. Witkiewicz to create the 1922 painting "Kompozycja." The animation was based on the "Pure Form" theory of art, created by Witkiewicz, according to which the main purpose of art is to produce a feeling of metaphysical anxiety, or a sensation of mystery of existence.
