Overview
Gandhi's Awakening explores the fascinating story of Mohandas Gandhi's early formative years in South Africa, where he experienced firsthand harsh prejudice and hatred as a young lawyer, saw the brutality of war as an ambulance stretcher carrier in the Zulu War of 1906, and underwent a spiritual epiphany that set the course for his entire life forward, leading him to become the Mahatma or Great Soul.
