이 이야기는 실화에 기초해 있다. 사랑했던 두 남자. 그 중 한 명이 집안의 압력에 의해 결혼해야 했다. 그를 떠나 보낼 수 없었던 연인은 고민과 싸움을 거듭하다가 결국 자신의 친누나를 소개시켜주게 된다. 이렇게 맺어진 악연. 결국 누나는 자기 남편과 자기 동생의 관계를 알게 된다. 하지만 누나는 자신이 갓 임신한 아기, 어쩌면 가족의 상징일 수도 있는 아기를 선택하게 되고 동생을 떠나보내게 한다. 시간이 흘러 그들은 어떻게 되었을까? (The film, based on a true story, begins by featuring two gay men, Kim and Lee, in love with each other. In a desperate attempt not to lose Lee, who is under the pressure to get married, Kim, after much agony, introduces Lee to his unmarried sister Kim as a prospective husband. Not knowing exactly what is going on, Kim decides to marry Lee. Eventually, she finds out the true nature of the relationship between her husband and her brother. Upon learning her pregnancy, however, Kim decides against divorce ; to save her family symbolized by the baby. Instead, she compels his brother to leave Kim. How will their lives unfold after these disastrous events?) 연출의도. 한국에서 동성애자로 살아간다는 것은 힘든 일이다. 그 중에서도 결혼은 가장 커다란 장애 중의 하나일 것이다. 한국의 동성애자들 대부분은 그 동안 자신과 가족을 속이고 이성과 결혼해야만 했다. 종로 커뮤니티에 나오는 게이들 중 70% 정도가 다 기혼 게이들이다. 나는 이 영화에서 선택의 문제, 개인들의 선택의 문제를 다루고 싶었다. 왜 그들은 자신의 삶을 적극적으로 선택하지 못하는 걸까? 영화를 시작하면서부터 든 첫 번째 의문이었다. (Among all the challenges gay Koreans have to face, the pressure to get married and carry on the family name is perhaps the greatest. In the past, the vast majority, if not all, of gays entered into heterosexual marriages deceiving both themselves and their family members because they felt they had no other choice. Therefore, it should not come as a surprise that over 70 percent of patrons of gay bars located in a "gay" district of S .eoul have wives and kids back home. In this film, I wanted to deal with the following question: Why can't they choose the courses of their lives more actively and positively?
