초등학생 아이들의 비밀스런 세계를 담은 깜찍한 영화. 말썽꾸러기인 두 소년은 방과 후 학교도서관에 남아 봉사활동을 하게 된다. 짝사랑하는 소녀, 갖고 싶은 로봇, 가고 싶은 놀이공원 등 세상에 대한 호기심으로 가득 찬 아이들은 때로 어른들의 무관심과 이기심 때문에 힘들기는 하지만, 그래도 꿋꿋이 성장해 나간다. (Two troublesome boys are sentenced to working in the library after school. Instead of repairing books, they read wild stories and plan a trip to a nearby water park, where a portal will lead them to a world where they can instantly live as adults.)
